The Family Bill of Rights Campaign is led by the Family Justice Collective at Poder In Action.
The Family Bill of Rights (FBR) seeks to address the horrific and traumatic experiences victims of police violence and their families have to endure at the hands of local police departments and municipalities in the aftermath of a violent act by police.
When someone is killed by police, families have to fight for basic transparency and accountability- things like getting unedited body camera footage, unredacted police reports, and getting a loved one’s belongings returned to them.
The Family Bill of Rights was written by families of people killed by police in Arizona, for the future countless families who will have a loved one stolen by police violence, until we can bring that violence to an end.

If you or a loved one has been impacted by police violence, we want to connect with you.
