The Family Justice Collective (FJC) was created by and for families who’ve had a loved one killed by police.
The program is a place for families to grow knowledge about the systems that stole their loved ones and to develop skills and strategies to disrupt and dismantle those systems. The FJC is a space for families to share experiences, support, and connect to resources for health, healing, and stability. Families in the FJC are growing collective power to end police violence, with a vision and set of values rooted in abolition.

In 2020, families came together to create a mural honoring their loved ones who had been killed by police. While the initial mural has since been covered, we’ve been working with community members and businesses to find spaces for long-term murals.
